The Rotary Club of Samford Valley presents

"MUSIC IN THE VALLEY 2007"

Saturday 27th October

Gates open at 5pm, first performance at 6.30pm

Baden Powell Park, Cnr Cash Av & Samford Rd Samford

The Rotary Club of Samford will be hosting their annual Music in the Valley (formerly Music by the Lake) event on Saturday 27th October at Baden Powell Park, cnr Samford Road and Cash Ave. Appropriately renamed "Music in the Valley", the larger space will accommodate a much bigger audience and allow people to spread out and enjoy the ambience of the evening.

Popular Brett Rutledge is MC for the evening with a line up of top acts headed by Sydney based electric violin trio "String Diva" who play music from popular TV shows, movies, themes and light opera. Their unique skills transform the violin from traditional to contemporary with great success.

Three popular young ladies whose voices and harmony are breathtaking will also be performing, their group is Bella Voce – "beautiful voice" and have featured at the event in previous years.

Local musician Karley French who recently performed at the Relay for Life event, will entertain with a range of relaxing and energetic contemporary music.

Also on display the well trained ensemble and orchestra musicians studying at Ferny Grove High School. These musicians regularly compete at State level and it’s truly inspiring to see our youth performing at such a professional event.

Come along and join in a great evening – put a group of friends together – the more the merrier!
