Rotary Community Awards

Each year the Rotary Club of Samford Valley conducts a Community Service Award Ceremony recognising the service of individuals and businesses to our Community.

There are three types of awards:

COMMUNITY SERVICE CERTIFICATE. These are awarded to individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding involvement and commitment to one or more local community activities.

PRIDE IN WORKMANSHIP AWARD. These awards (plaques) are presented to people who have demonstrated an above average pride and commitment to quality in their workplace activities.

ETHICS IN BUSINESS AWARD. These awards (plaques) recognise business leaders/managers in our community who demonstrate high level ethical practices in their dealings with their clients, employees and suppliers. The Rotary 4-Way Test will be the basis for assessment for this award. The 4 tests are:

IS IT THE TRUTH?

IS IT FAIR TO ALL CONCERNED?

WILL IT BUILD GOODWILL AND BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

WILL IT BE BENEFICIAL TO ALL CONCERNED?

You are invited to make suitable recommendations for all or any of these awards. Your recommendations must be in the hands of:
